Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Courses

Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training courses are specifically designed for healthcare professionals who work with pediatric patients. This training course is built off of the skills learned in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) training.

Students will learn a variety of life-saving skills in a Pediatric Advanced Life Support course such as high-quality CPR, arrhythmias, cardiopulmonary arrest and more. Expect to practice high-intensity cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as a team to save lives and care for ill or injured children.

Those who require Pediatric Advanced Life Support training include nurses, physicians, paramedics and others who work in a pediatric care setting. Be sure to register today and earn your PALS certificate and save lives!

Requirements:	Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from Heart and Stroke 100% attendance of the course 75% score on the multiple choice knowledge test
Certification:	Certificate will be issued, valid for 2 years

The course was not only very detailed and organized, the instructor was really wonderful. Scott made sure that everyone was clear on all the information, he made the information and the day very easy to follow and assimilate all the information and really took great care of each individual. He was entirely present and engaging. As a class we were fortunate to have him as an instructor for our in class portion. It is a significant and very essential skill to learn and how it is learned is the foundation that people take with them and us important when having to use these practical skills. That cannot be neglected. I really appreciate all the care and detail he put into this course.

Instructor Ali Sekhavati is super fun and had engaging and interactive lessons!!! 😃 Thank you! -Free parking -Restaurants: Subway, Tim Hortons, Burger King walking distance- other eating options are available too. – Well-paced lessons with a lot of opportunities to practice and breaks given were great! – class sizes are very well manageable- instructor was able to give attention to each participant during practices. -Assessment is in person on the same day at the end of the training. First Aid & CPR/AED Training

Along with Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training, Coast2Coast also offers First Aid and CPR/AED training courses that follow the Canadian Red Cross guidelines. Our two first aid training courses are Basic/Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C as well as Intermediate/Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. Each of these courses are offered in the Traditional All In-Class format or the Online Blended format.

Each of our First Aid and CPR/AED courses are WSIB approved and taught by one of our highly trained Canadian Red Cross instructors. Practice hands-on skills such as wound care, CPR, bandaging and more with top-notch equipment, guaranteed to make you feel confident in your life-saving skills.

Currently, our First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) courses are held separately as of April 2019. First aid training will cover basic to advanced skills as well as CPR, AED and choking for adults, children and infants. Our Basic Life Support course will have some overlap of skills, but will primarily focus on high-intensity CPR, BVM, how to work in a fast-paced environment with a team and more.

First Aid + BLS Bundle

Many students who require Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training also require first aid training. If you require both trainings for your school program or workplace, you may be eligible for our BLS bundle discount!

To take advantage of the bundle discount, you must register for two separate courses:

Basic/Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C OR Intermediate/Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP)

This discount will be applied to the Basic Life Support registration, reducing the price to $39.99+HST per person.
