Majority of workplaces require Intermediate first aid certification. This 16-hour course meets WSIB Regulation 1101, and most college or university placements ask for it too. Our Intermediate First Aid & CPR/AED Level C course is what employers need.
They are the same course, renamed by the Canadian Red Cross in 2022. It is the same 16-hour workplace first aid training course.
Level C covers Adult, Child, and Infant skills. Level A is Adult only; Level B is Child and Infant only. Basic Life Support (BLS) is for healthcare workers.
Intermediate First Aid and CPR/AED Level C certificates last three years. You must recertify with the same certifying body. Certificates over three years old require the full course.
