Group First Aid & CPR/AED Training for Schools
Many people who are enrolled in secondary/post-secondary programs think about their future and what requirements they need to complete their life goals. These could be goals for degrees, careers and more. Popular choices for careers include those of childhood education, social/personal support work, security, pharmacy or healthcare. Each of these professions require a CPR/AED and First Aid certification to continue their work. Coast2Coast is here to provide group training for schools, great for all students and post-secondary staff/educators who need or desire Canadian Red Cross certifications.
Coast2Coast devotes many of our instructors and schedules to train those who need CPR/AED and First Aid training for schools. Our services are open to all educational institutions, public or private. We promote all students in any type of course to enroll in our training, as we value having leaders of our communities being ready for any situation they may need CPR and/or First Aid for. All of our certified Canadian Red Cross instructors have years of experience teaching all ages, preparing each student with the tools and knowledge they will need to further their education with instruction from Coast2Coast.
All our instructors are trained to design courses specifically for each class, regardless of class size, type (students, workers, etc.), and demographic. Every course that is processed through Coast2Coast is WSIB and Canadian Red Cross approved. This means that our courses meet the highest of standards for the Federal Occupational Health and Safety Act.
At Coast2Coast, we offer the following Canadian Red Cross and WSIB approved courses:
• CPR/AED Level A/C Course & Recertification
• Basic/Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Course
• Intermediate/Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Course & Recertification
Our WSIB approved courses are available to private and public clientele. We have a wide selection of training locations across Southern Ontario from Scarborough to Hamilton to Ottawa. All our facilities are adept to handle small private client groups or large public class sessions. Our instructors are exuberant in their teaching, with each having their own passion and reasoning for teaching CPR/AED and First Aid. With our courses, we will supply you with the skills and knowledge to handle crisis health and emergency scenarios and be a proud CPR and First Aider to your community.
Whether you decide to take a private course with your fellow students or take a public session with an array of participants, all of our certificates will be validated by the Canadian Red Cross and be un-expired for three years.
WSIB Requirement – Regulation 1101
All our instructors are Canadian Red Cross certified and retrained by Coast2Coast Head Office. They are masters at designing each course based on the class size, type and demographic. All of our courses are WSIB approved and meet the highest standards of the Federal Occupational Health and Safety act.
We pride ourselves in offering the best hands on training compared to our competitors for CPR and First Aid. Coast2Coast values the practical approach in physically showing you how each method of CPR and First Aid is taught, instead of directly telling you how to perform CPR and reading from your book. When an emergency happens, we want you to be prepared and ready, and with our curriculum, we make sure of that. Our practical teaching method requires us to have an plentiful amount of equipment for our pupils to practice on, which include but are not limited to CPR mannequins, AED mannequins, a wide selection of sizes of bandages and splints, and EpiPen’s.
Each location offers an array of course dates and courses, but for those who request private training, we tailor the course timing and location for you. We offer Re-certification courses for those who already have a valid certificate but want to be up to date in their training, as well as our online blended learning option. You and your students would complete the theory portion online, and only attend a one-day training where the focus is primarily on practical skills.
