Canadian Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificates expire after 3 years and must be recertified in order to stay valid. Coast2Coast First Aid and CPR/AED services offer the Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support (HCP) training course in Milton. This course provides students with the skills to recognize and react to cardiovascular emergencies. Participants, typically from the healthcare field, will go through an intensive training that provides the latest resuscitation techniques.
Practice a variety of topics including high-performance CPR, trauma, opioid overdose and more. Students may also add Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy to their training program.

Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol would all need to complete to BLS training.
