I recently completed the Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C training at Coast2Coast First Aid in the North York facility, and I had a very positive experience. The training was well organized, professional, and easy to understand. The instructor was excellent—very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They explained each topic clearly and made sure everyone understood the steps before moving forward. The hands-on practice for CPR, AED use, choking, and emergency response was very helpful and made the training feel realistic and practical. The class environment was comfortable and interactive, and there was enough time for practice and questions. I especially appreciated how the instructor focused on real-life situations and safety, which helped me build confidence in responding to emergencies. Overall, this was a great training experience. I feel much more confident and prepared to handle emergency situations now. I would definitely recommend Coast2Coast First Aid at the North York facility to anyone looking for high-quality first aid and CPR training.

Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics is a recognized business that offers certain First Aid and life-saving related certifications for professionals and anyone who wants to enhance their skill set. They operate out of various sites across Ontario (GTA and Southwestern Ontario) and are partnered up with the Canadian Red Cross. I'm an RN who has practiced for the past decade in an outpatient capacity. I recently acquired a new role and will be heading back to inpatient at a local hospital and as a result, took a full BLS (CPR/AED) course from Coast2Coast out of the Kitchener location. It was very comprehensive and the instructor (PRABH) covered all the related topics and was highly knowledgable with providing rationale. She had a good demeanour and was approachable - great qualities to have as an instructor. RECOMMENDATIONS: - ensure you have registered for the correct course as they have a ton listed on the Canadian red cross site. I recommend calling their customer service hotline - which was very helpful. I couldn't find my old CPR card and so the customer service rep assisted me in moving my registration to the appropriate class. Total cost $73 for the BLS - HCP one which will cover CPR, AED, Choking, etc across the lifespan. - ensure you have your old certification card to show them, valid within 3 years, if not then just register for the course again (4hrs) and pay the $73 bucks (taxes in). - Arrive early, or if you cannot make it then call and cancel or notify the instructor so it doesn't waste the instructor's time or the registered participants. All in all, very good course, easy payment, live customer service representative, and knowledgable instructors (aka. PRABH). Thank you.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Doc Lance! 🙏 Congratulations on your new inpatient role. We are so glad our customer service team helped you get into the right class, and we agree that Prabh is wonderful at explaining the rationale behind the training. Good luck with your transition, and thank you for choosing us for your Red Cross certification in Kitchener. Feel free to refer your friends and family - we'd love to help them too! - The Coast2Coast Team

I renewed my BLS certification with Coast2Coast. Hetal had a comprehensive lesson for us to refresh our training. She answered every question with perfect clarity and prepared us with all the information to pass the 20 question quiz at the end. It was easy, if you pay attention. I feel confident that any emergency situation I encounter that I can calmly and professionally handle what is required within my level of certification. There are many locations, dates and times to choose from, which is why I chose them, but they are clean, organized and have have well maintained equipment to train on. I will be renewing with them again next year.
Response from the owner:Thank you, L P! 🙏 We agree that Hetal is wonderful at keeping the lessons comprehensive and answering every question with clarity. It is great to hear you feel so confident to handle an emergency and that you enjoyed our clean equipment during your recertification in Scarborough. Some of our Professional Responder training courses in Hamilton require you to be certified in First Aid and CPR/AED. Please be sure to meet all necessary pre-requisites prior to registering for a First Responder or Emergency Medical Responder course.

You can get CPR certified at Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, a leading provider of Canadian Red Cross training programs in Hamilton. They offer courses which are WSIB-approved and provide you a 3-year Canadian Red Cross certification (1-year certification for BLS). Become a hero and register for your CPR course in Hamilton at Coast2Coast today!

First Aid and CPR/AED training courses from a Canadian Red Cross training partner such as Coast2Coast are offered in two separate formats. There is the Traditional All In-Class format and the Online Blended format. Both training formats will provide students with a WSIB approved Canadian Red Cross certificate, providing you the option to choose what format is best for you.

With the Online Blended format, your course will be split into two parts: an online component and an in-class session. This format provides students the flexibility to complete half of their training in their own time in the comfort of their own home. The online component does not need to be completed all in one sitting, making it easy for students to digest the material.

Prior to attending an in-class session, you must complete the online component. Once you attend the in-class portion, you will practice hands-on skills with one of our highly trained Canadian Red Cross instructors. Complete your training and gain the confidence required to help a person in need.

If you require First Aid and CPR/AED training for your workplace or school program, then we highly recommend you check with your employer/program coordinator to find out which level of training you need. Many professions require you to be certified in First Aid and CPR/AED and they will require you to have specific training.

At Coast2Coast, we are happy to suggest a course we believe would be beneficial to your requirements, but we cannot be held responsible if you register for the incorrect course. These two courses contain different material, so it is important to know which one to register for prior to enrolling.

Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is our basic first aid training course. This course teaches minimal first aid as well as CPR, AED and choking for adults, infants and children. Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is more advanced as it covers everything taught in Emergency First Aid as well as additional topics. Typically, we recommend this course since it is a higher level of training.

Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics is a leading provider of first aid and CPR training in Hamilton with multiple awards from the Canadian Red Cross. They offer a comprehensive range of WSIB-approved courses such as Standard First Aid, Basic Life Support, Professional Responder programs and more. Their Hamilton facility is located downtown, providing convenient access for residents and professionals in the area. Coast2Coast’s courses are taught by experienced instructors and top-notch training equipment, ensuring that students feel confident and prepared for any emergency they face. Regardless of why you need first aid and CPR certification, Coast2Coast provides high-quality training to meet your needs!

If you wish to enrol in a Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training course, please know that there are no pre-requisites. It is recommended to have some understanding of how to perform CPR and use an AED as this course is fast-paced and more intense than regular CPR/AED training courses we offer at Coast2Coast.

Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training is designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, dental professionals, first responders and more. This course covers high-performance CPR, trauma, opioid overdose and more. Along with life-saving skills, the Basic Life Support training course also teaches students how to work as a team in a fast-paced environment such as a hospital.

As a healthcare professional, it is important to learn and understand these life-saving techniques as the people you care for rely on you to assist them. Due to this, students must renew their certificate annually, as it is only valid for one year.

Have you taken a First Aid and CPR/AED training course with a Canadian Red Cross training partner and realized it is about to expire? If so, you will need to recertify as soon as possible! Most Canadian Red Cross certificates are valid for three years (one year for Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP)). Before your certificate expires, you will need to complete a Recertification course.

If you let your certificate expire, you will no longer be eligible for a Recertification course and you will be forced to register for a full training course again. Occasionally, employers and school program coordinators will require you to recertify your training once a year.

CPR/AED Level C can be recertified over and over whereas Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C can only be recertified once. Essentially, this means that you must alternate between a full course and a Recertification course each time you require renewal.

Yes, definitely! If you wish to certify eight or more people at once for the same training course, please inquire about a Private/Group First Aid and CPR/AED course with Coast2Coast. Our private training courses not only provide your group with WSIB approved Canadian Red Cross certificates. We also provide great benefits!

Once you provide us with information about your group, you have the opportunity to tell us when and where you would like your training to occur. This could be at your workplace, school, gym, etc. as long as there is enough floor space to practice hands-on skills. We will send one of our Canadian Red Cross instructors to your location with all required training equipment.

Private training groups will also receive amazing discounts on their first aid and CPR/AED course! Our private training coordinators are guaranteed to give you the best price possible, making training for multiple people affordable.
