First Aid Training for Security Guard Companies

Instructor Dimitri Lafleuer is very knowledgeable. He makes the training very easy and fun involving all the participants.(He jokes a lot).I never had this kind of experience before in last 15 years. I would definitely like to take his class again after 3 years (at the time of First Aid and CPR recertification).

I had a great experience, my instructor Dimitrih was very knowledgeable, engaging and funny which made the class enjoyable and easy to follow. I recently completed the Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C training at Coast2Coast First Aid in the North York facility, and I had a very positive experience. The training was well organized, professional, and easy to understand. The instructor was excellent—very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They explained each topic clearly and made sure everyone understood the steps before moving forward. The hands-on practice for CPR, AED use, choking, and emergency response was very helpful and made the training feel realistic and practical. The class environment was comfortable and interactive, and there was enough time for practice and questions. I especially appreciated how the instructor focused on real-life situations and safety, which helped me build confidence in responding to emergencies. Overall, this was a great training experience. I feel much more confident and prepared to handle emergency situations now. I would definitely recommend Coast2Coast First Aid at the North York facility to anyone looking for high-quality first aid and CPR training.

Saika is amazing. I loved her training and she truly makes things relatable and I will remember her stories. I love that she is a mother and a woman and I appreciated her aspect and understanding in doing first aid on women, and some of the challenges doing first aid on large men also, as a petite woman.

Coast2Coast also shows great flexibility with booking, which is essential for a company of our size with staff on a hybrid schedule. Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics is a recognized business that offers certain First Aid and life-saving related certifications for professionals and anyone who wants to enhance their skill set. They operate out of various sites across Ontario (GTA and Southwestern Ontario) and are partnered up with the Canadian Red Cross. I'm an RN who has practiced for the past decade in an outpatient capacity. I recently acquired a new role and will be heading back to inpatient at a local hospital and as a result, took a full BLS (CPR/AED) course from Coast2Coast out of the Kitchener location. It was very comprehensive and the instructor (PRABH) covered all the related topics and was highly knowledgable with providing rationale. She had a good demeanour and was approachable – great qualities to have as an instructor. RECOMMENDATIONS: – ensure you have registered for the correct course as they have a ton listed on the Canadian red cross site. I recommend calling their customer service hotline – which was very helpful. I couldn't find my old CPR card and so the customer service rep assisted me in moving my registration to the appropriate class. Total cost $73 for the BLS – HCP one which will cover CPR, AED, Choking, etc across the lifespan. – ensure you have your old certification card to show them, valid within 3 years, if not then just register for the course again (4hrs) and pay the $73 bucks (taxes in). – Arrive early, or if you cannot make it then call and cancel or notify the instructor so it doesn't waste the instructor's time or the registered participants. All in all, very good course, easy payment, live customer service representative, and knowledgable instructors (aka. PRABH). Thank you.

I renewed my BLS certification with Coast2Coast. Hetal had a comprehensive lesson for us to refresh our training. She answered every question with perfect clarity and prepared us with all the information to pass the 20 question quiz at the end. It was easy, if you pay attention. I feel confident that any emergency situation I encounter that I can calmly and professionally handle what is required within my level of certification. There are many locations, dates and times to choose from, which is why I chose them, but they are clean, organized and have have well maintained equipment to train on. I will be renewing with them again next year.
