Online Blended Training Our Cornwall First Aid & CPR/AED private training course is offered in an Online Blended format which is WSIB approved, great for those with busy schedules! The Online Blended format is split into two sections: Online and In-Class. The online portion must be completed in the participant’s own time, prior to an in-class session. This portion will contain quizzes, games and videos to help you understand the material.

After completing the online portion, participants will need to attend an in-class session. This portion of the course will cover hands-on training with one of our experienced Canadian Red Cross instructors. Use top-notch equipment and feel confident in your life-saving skills. Recertification Training After three years, Canadian Red Cross first aid and CPR certificates will expire, requiring participants to renew them. Our Cornwall First Aid & CPR/AED Recertification courses are offered for private training, ideal with groups of 8 or more participants to enroll in. To be eligible to earn this WSIB approved certificate, participants must have a valid (not expired) Canadian Red Cross certificate that is not from a previous Recertification course.

The Recertification course has been designed to refresh participant’s memories on how to respond to emergency situations. Students will primarily practice hands-on skills with our top-notch equipment, building confidence in their life-saving skills. Coast2Coast offers private Basic Life Support (HCP) training meant for people who work as healthcare professionals. This course is specifically designed to teach participants emergency training in a hospital setting. Learn how to help in an emergency situation such as a trauma, opioid overdose as well as high-performance CPR in a fast-paced environment. The Basic Life Support (HCP) training course is a high-intensity course that must be renewed once a year.

Our private Basic Life Support (HCP) courses in Cornwall are great for workplace and school program training requirements. Register your group for a private training and gain the confidence required to work in different healthcare settings such as a hospital. Participants may also choose to include an extra component to their course, known as Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy, which is an additional two hours of training.

Kia is not your typical instructor he is a doctor by profession, and it shows in every single lesson. What sets him apart is that he does not just teach you how to do things; he explains the why behind every technique, giving you the kind of deep understanding that actually sticks. What truly surprised me was how fast a full-day lecture flew by. Kia has an incredible way of delivering lessons engaging, energetic, and never dull for a single moment. I recently completed the hybrid online and in-person Standard First Aid and CPR C course, and it was excellent from start to finish. The registration process was smooth and straightforward, and the online learning platform was easy to navigate and well organized.

The in-person portion of the course was equally well run. Our instructor, Azra, was clear, knowledgeable, and very supportive throughout the training. She demonstrated each skill thoroughly and provided helpful guidance while we practiced. I especially appreciated how she explained the rationale behind the care being provided, which made it much easier to understand and remember the steps.

Overall, it was a very well-structured course that balanced online learning with hands-on practice effectively. I would highly recommend this course to anyone needing Standard First Aid and CPR training.

I recently completed the Emergency First Aid/CPR training at this location, and it was a really engaging and enjoyable experience. Our instructor, Joseph, explained complex procedures—like using a tourniquet and placing someone in the recovery position—in a way that was easy to understand. He kept the class interesting by sharing personal experiences and giving us real life situations to act out.
