Aurora First Aid & CPR/AED Recertification Training Registration

Recertification courses are a great way to keep your first aid and CPR/AED skills up-to-date! This one day course will consist, primarily, of hands-on training, helping you feel more confident in your ability to provide first aid and CPR when necessary. Our Canadian Red Cross instructors will not only refresh your memory on first aid and CPR, but they will also inform you of any new techniques that have been proven to save more lives.

Every three years, students must recertify their Canadian Red Cross certificates in order to keep them valid. Our Aurora First Aid & CPR Recertification courses are only available for those who hold a current (not expired) Canadian Red Cross certificate that is not from a previous Recertification course.

What if I do not Meet the Criteria Above?

If you do not meet the above criteria, you will need to register for a full training course. This can be done in the Traditional All In-Class format of the Online Blended format. Each course format will provide you with a WSIB approved certificate from the Canadian Red Cross which is valid for three years. Typically, we recommend you register for the Online Blended format as half of the training must be completed online in the participant’s own time prior to attending a one day in-class session.

Students may Only Recertify the Following Courses:

-CPR/AED Level C
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C

Improve your life-saving skills and build confidence by enrolling in an Aurora First Aid & CPR Recertification course! First aid and CPR training is a great skill to have as accidents and emergencies happen on a daily basis. Although we hope we never have to experience emergencies that require first aid or CPR, knowing and understanding these life-saving skills will prepare us in case one happens. Keep you, your family and your community safe by continuing to update your first aid and CPR skills. Not only will these skills benefit you, but they will benefit the people you are around.

Has Your Current Certificate Expired?

Sometimes we miss the cut-off to complete a Recertification course. If that happened to you, we recommend that you register for the full training in an Online Blended format. You may learn more below:

If your most recent certificate has expired or the dates below do not fit your schedule, take a look at our “Blended” course dates by clicking here.

What is Online Blended?

The Online Blended format contains both an online and in-class component. This WSIB approved course is perfect for those who prefer to spend less time in the classroom as half of the training will be completed online. The online component will include the theory portion of the course which must be completed in your own time prior to your in-class date. The in-class portion will cover all hands-on training such as performing CPR or specific first aid tasks. This is not a Recertification course.
