About Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics
Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics Inc is founded by two experienced Canadian Red Cross First Aid and Water Safety instructors. We are an official partner of the Canadian Red Cross as well as Heart & Stroke and our teaching guidelines are approved by WSIB Ontario and OHS Alberta. Coast2Coast is based in Toronto; although we offer First Aid and CPR/AED training throughout Ontario, specifically the GTA and in Alberta.
Through our Canadian Red Cross training program, we currently provide various life-saving training courses such as CPR & First Aid, Re-certification and Basic Life Support (BLS). Many of these courses are available in an Online Blended format, making it quick and easy to get certified!
We also offer Professional Responder courses such as First Responder (FR) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). These courses have been designed to train those in first responder roles such as paramedics, firefighters, etc.
Not only can adults learn important life-saving skills, but children can as well! Register them for one of our Youth programs such as Babysitting or Stay Safe!
As a Heart & Stroke partner, we also provide our students in healthcare professions Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS).

Ashkon Pour-heidary, who has completed his Neuroscience degree from the University of Toronto, became a First Aid and CPR/AED instructor from when he was only 19. He decided to become a first aid instructor simply because he wanted to help promote life-saving skills and increase awareness in the community. As of his passion to impact the community, Ashkon Pour-Heidary took initiative and became an instructor in order to shape the new generation of first aid and CPR instructors.
Currently, he heads the operations for Coast2Coast First Aid, most notably by recruiting top-notch First Aid instructors in the GTA. Over the past few years, both Ashkon and Aryan have assembled a highly dedicated and talented team of managers, staff and instructors to ensure high quality of the programs offer by Coast2Coast. With multiple locations and experienced instructors, Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics offer the most complete and flexible line of First Aid and CPR programs in the form of public and corporate training.
Ashkon strongly believes that everyone, from children to adults, need to learn the life saving skills of CPR and first aid. He, along with his team of trusted and experienced instructors, constantly work hard to develop interactive and suitable teaching strategies to maximize the learning experience of the students.
He heavily emphasizes on the importance of hands-on training to Coast2Coast instructors and ensures classes have minimal lecture component. He believes that in case of an emergency, the muscle memory created during the training is absolutely critical to performing skills such as CPR. His main goal is to ensure everyone completing the training at Coast2Coast, leaves with confidence and skills necessary to act in case of an emergency situation.

We consider swimming an art & who doesn’t love art?
Aryan Sekhavati is the Co-Founder and Director of Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics Inc. Aryan has obtained his swimming credentials from Iran as well as the Life Saving Society and the Canadian Red Cross in Toronto. His enthusiasm for swimming began at an exceptionally young age which led him into being a member of the Iranian National Water Polo team. He has worked for many of the local swim schools in the GTA and multiple municipalities teaching and ultimately supervising other instructors.
Aryan’s aquatics knowledge and his drive to educate led to the creation of Coast2Coast Swim School. Coast2Coast Swim School offers a premier swimming program in the area, offering best in class instructions, state of the art training facilities, and providing the opportunity for individuals, including children, to become elite athletes in a safe and enjoyable environment. At Coast2Coast, he has developed a unique aquatics program which establishes a genuine relationship between the swimmer and the water, along with instructors trained to approach each student one-on-one.
Coast2Coast offers a variety of aquatics classes & courses. We provide Private, Semi-Private & Group courses. We currently hold swimming classes in two of best public pools in the city & hopefully we will be able to provide these services to more communities!
According to many researchers, swimming is one the best workouts one can possibly commit to and we are here to make sure you have all the right tools to have a great experience every time you swim. When the right techniques are not precisely used, swimming can be both dangerous & very tiring. It is believed that swimming is all about the techniques and having the right technique is what we are all about.
Coast2Coast insists on a fun and professional atmosphere in order to get the best results. We make sure our students are happy to be in the water and we spend the necessary time with them to ensure they practice the right technique. It’s an awesome feeling when your students master something which they were afraid of not so long ago!
