Workplace First Aid & CPR Training, Built for Your Industry
Every workplace faces different risks. A construction site, a commercial kitchen, a manufacturing floor, a security post, and a hospital unit all need different first aid coverage, and different provincial regulators to satisfy. As a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner, we build group and on-site training around the hazards your team actually faces.

Which Industry Do You Train?
Coast2Coast First Aid trains teams across healthcare, construction, food and community service, manufacturing, and security. Each industry gets a program matched to its real hazards and to the standard its provincial regulator sets, whether that's WSIB in Ontario, Alberta OHS, or an equivalent elsewhere in Canada. Pick your industry below, or tell us your team's roles and we'll confirm the right course.
🏥 Healthcare
BLS & First AidHospitals, clinics, and long-term care teams need Basic Life Support for clinical roles and workplace First Aid for everyone else. We certify mixed teams on-site.
🏗️ Construction
Jobsite ReadyFalls, struck-by injuries, and confined-space incidents call for crews who can respond fast. We train on-site or at a location near your job, scheduled around shifts.
🍽️ Food & Community Service
PopularBurns, cuts, choking, and public-facing emergencies are part of daily service. We certify restaurant, hospitality, and community service teams together in one session.
🏭 Manufacturing
Plant FloorCuts, crush injuries, and chemical exposure are the realities of a plant floor. We train around shift patterns so production doesn't stop for certification.
🛡️ Security Guard Companies
On-SiteSecurity teams are often first on scene before paramedics arrive. We certify guards and patrol staff in CPR, AED use, and emergency response, scheduled around rotations.
The Emergencies Workplace Teams Actually Face
Every industry carries a different mix of risk. Training is built around what actually happens on your site, not a generic first aid checklist.
Falls & struck-by injuries
Common on construction and industrial sites, where quick, correct response matters before EMS arrives.
Burns & chemical exposure
Kitchens, plants, and labs all carry burn and exposure risk that needs immediate, confident first response.
Cardiac events & choking
CPR and AED skills for the critical first minutes, in any workplace, in any industry.
Lifting & musculoskeletal injuries
Common wherever staff move product, patients, or equipment throughout a shift.
Workplace violence
Ontario's OHSA requires every employer to have a workplace violence program; security, healthcare, and community service roles carry elevated risk.
Cuts, lacerations & equipment injuries
Manufacturing and food service both involve tools and machinery that call for fast bleeding control.
First Aid Requirements Across Canada
Every province sets its own workplace first aid rule through its own regulator, but almost all of them now point to the same national training standard, CSA Z1210, and the same kit standard, CSA Z1220. That is why a Canadian Red Cross certificate from Coast2Coast First Aid is recognized nationwide, in every industry we train.
