Common questions about receiving, reissuing, and verifying your first aid certification

Certificates are issued digitally by the Canadian Red Cross system within 48 hours of your course completion. The most common reasons for a delay are: (1) the email landed in your spam or junk folder, (2) the email address on file has a typo, or (3) there was a short processing delay on the Red Cross side. Submit the form above and we'll investigate all three scenarios for you.

Once we locate your record, we action the reissue through the Canadian Red Cross certification portal. Reissued certificates typically arrive within 1–2 business days. If you need it urgently for employment or healthcare onboarding, mention that in your form submission and we'll prioritize it.

No. If you completed a course with Coast2Coast First Aid and your certificate was never received due to a delivery issue or system error, there is no fee to reissue it. If additional charges apply in any specific circumstance, we'll let you know before proceeding.

To locate your record quickly, please have the following ready: your full legal name (as registered), the email address you used at booking, the approximate course date, the course type (Intermediate/Standard First Aid, Basic/Emergency First Aid, CPR, BLS, etc.), and the city / location where you trained. Yes. The Canadian Red Cross maintains a live certification database. Once your course is entered into the system (typically within 24–48 hours of completion), your certification status can be verified directly with the Red Cross. Email us at info@c2cfirstaidaquatics.com and we can provide your employer with a verification reference number while you wait for your digital certificate.

Use the certificate request form above and select the "Name / information correction" option. Include your correct legal name and any supporting information. Certificate corrections require verification against your original booking ID, so the process typically takes 2–3 business days.
