Blended First Aid & CPR/AED Courses
Did you know you can get certified in First Aid and CPR in an Online Blended format? Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics provides Online Blended in Vanier, making it convenient to earn a WSIB approved First Aid & CPR/AED certificate.
Online Blended training is split into two parts: Online and In-Class. The online portion will contain theory and knowledge. With this section, students will complete half of their training online, in their own time, reading information, playing games, watching videos and completing quizzes to learn course material. The online portion must be completed prior to the student’s in-class date.
The in-class portion will primarily cover hands-on material with our top-notch training equipment! Learn first aid and CPR/AED skills with one of our experienced Canadian Red Cross instructors. Students will learn many skills such as CPR, bandaging, wound care and more.

First Aid & CPR/AED Recertification Courses
Recertification courses are for students with a first aid and CPR/AED certificate which is about to expire. In order to keep a certificate valid for work or school, you must recertify your certificate before the expiration date. At Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, we provide private Vanier First Aid & CPR/AED Recertification courses. Students enrolled in a Recertification course will not only renew their certificate, but also gain an increase of confidence in their life-saving skills.
If you wish to enroll in a Recertification course with Coast2Coast, please be sure that you have a valid (not expired) Canadian Red Cross certificate. Recertification course levels include CPR/AED Level C and Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. Failure to meet these prerequisites will require students to enroll in a full training course.

Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics provides Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training in the city of Vanier. Designed for healthcare professionals, the Basic Life Support training course will cover a wide range of topics including how to work in a fast-paced environment, high-performance CPR, trauma, and more.
This intense training course will require students to practice hands-on skills with our high-quality training equipment. Led by a Canadian Red Cross instructor, students will learn amazing life-saving skills, earning them a WSIB approved certificate which is valid for one year. Students may also add an additional two hour training to their course called “Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy.”
Audience
Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol would all need to complete to BLS training.

Professional Responder courses are part of our Advanced First Aid and CPR/AED training courses. At Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, we provide private Professional Responder training for many advanced levels such as First Responder, Emergency Medical Responder and more. Each of these courses are WSIB approved and follow the guidelines set by the Canadian Red Cross.
Our Professional Responder courses are designed for students in/going into first responder roles such as paramedics, fire safety and more. During these courses, students are required to complete intense scenario-based hands-on training, meant to build confidence in your first aid and CPR skills. Training will last two to eight days depending on the course level chosen.

Training Levels:
At Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, we provide private Youth training programs which follow Canadian Red Cross guidelines. It’s never too early to learn skills such as first aid, CPR, leadership and more!
There are two Youth programs students may choose from including: Babysitting and Stay Safe. Our Babysitting course teaches teens not only how to care for younger children, but also how to run a babysitting business, how to keep children safe, how to be a leader and basic first aid and CPR skills. Stay Safe, on the other hand, teaches pre-teens and teens how to keep themselves safe when there is no adult supervision. Students will also learn basic first aid and CPR skills.
