Our Private/Group Sarnia First Aid & CPR/AED training courses come in the Online Blended format, meaning that students must complete half of their training online in their own time prior to attending a one day in-class training date.

First, learn theory and knowledge online in the comfort of your own home at your own pace. After you complete the online portion, come to a one day class to learn hands-on skills with top-notch equipment, taught by one of our highly trained Canadian Red Cross instructors. Recertification Training All of our Canadian Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificates expire after three years (besides Basic Life Support) and must be renewed to stay valid. Prior to your original certificate expiring, you are eligible to enroll in a Recertification course. The Recertification course was designed to refresh student’s life saving skills and inform them of any new techniques to assist in an emergency situation.

Basic Life Support (HCP) is a course specifically created to teach essential rescuer skills for healthcare professionals. Learn how to help patients who suffer from cardiac arrest, trauma, opioid overdose and more through our high-intensity training private training courses in Sarnia. Basic Life Support teaches students how to operate in a fast-paced environment while teaching life saving skills.

Students will be required to attend a training ranging from two to eight days depending on course level which includes scenario-based learning. I liked the professional consultation on which course to choose and the ase of booking and accessing the portal for Blended Certification. Charlie was an active instructor who added some light moments to our intense full day of training at the centre which is conveniently located near the ION rail and bus service as well as nearby cafes to grab a quick snack and coffee. I would recommend this centre which is affiliated with The Red Cross Canada.

Great experience overall for my First aid/Cpr course with skilled, engaging teaching from the instructor Kia and hands-on-experience. The final test needed to earn the certificate wasn't too difficult, and the training ensures that you are more than prepared for it. While it was occasionally difficult sitting for an extended period of time in a hot room, the overall experience more than made up for it.
