Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions — Coast2Coast First Aid CPR Nepean

Common questions about First Aid, CPR, BLS, and EMR training at Coast2Coast's Nepean location at 2068 Robertson Rd #208.

Yes. All First Aid, CPR/AED Level C, Basic Life Support, EMR, and Red Cross CPR first aid certification courses at 2068 Robertson Rd #208, Nepean are WSIB approved — meeting Ontario Regulation 1101 workplace safety requirements. Our certificates are widely accepted across Ottawa west, Ottawa east, Nepean, Kanata, and the National Capital Region.

Both run at 2068 Robertson Rd #208. Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is a one-day course for workplaces with 5 or fewer employees per shift. Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is a two-day course required for most Nepean workplaces, Algonquin College placements, and federal employees. If unsure, choose Standard First Aid — it covers more and is accepted everywhere.

The three CPR level tiers differ by age coverage. CPR/AED Level C — required by most Nepean employers — covers adult, child, and infant CPR plus automated external defibrillator use. Level B covers adult and child only; Level A covers adult plus AED. Choose CPR/AED Level C — it is the standard at our 2068 Robertson Rd #208 facility.

Existing certificates remain valid until they expire. The WSIB is updating its First Aid program in 2026 under Ontario Regulation 1101 — new training launches with refreshed CPR and first aid training content, modernized AED protocols, and updated mental health emergency response modules.

No. WSIB approved certification requires an in-person skills assessment. Coast2Coast uses blended learning — complete the theory online at your own pace, then attend a short in-person session at 2068 Robertson Rd #208 for hands-on practice with CPR, AED, and bandaging. The blended format is particularly beneficial for healthcare workers and students with demanding schedules.
