Coast2Coast offers training in an Online Blended format, ideal for those who do not want to spend as much time in a classroom. What’s Online Blended? This means that half of your training will need to be completed online in your own time. The online portion will contain the theory and knowledge of first aid and CPR. After you complete the online portion, you will need to attend a one day in-class session which will cover the hands-on skills with one of our Canadian Red Cross instructors.

First Aid & CPR/AED Recertification Courses

Coast2Coast provides Recertification courses for students whose Canadian Red Cross certificate is about to expire. Our training courses are WSIB approved, ideal for keeping your life-saving skills fresh. Students will attend a one day course that primarily focuses on hands-on training. This training will not only renew a student’s certificate, but it will also help the student feel more confident in their first aid and CPR skills.
In order to be eligible for a Recertification course with Coast2Coast, you must have a valid Canadian Red Cross certificate that is not from a previous Recertification course. Students may only recertify CPR/AED Level C or Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. If you do not meet this criteria, you will need to attend a full training course. I recently completed the Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C training at Coast2Coast First Aid in the North York facility, and I had a very positive experience. The training was well organized, professional, and easy to understand. The instructor was excellent—very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They explained each topic clearly and made sure everyone understood the steps before moving forward. The hands-on practice for CPR, AED use, choking, and emergency response was very helpful and made the training feel realistic and practical. The class environment was comfortable and interactive, and there was enough time for practice and questions. Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics is a recognized business that offers certain First Aid and life-saving related certifications for professionals and anyone who wants to enhance their skill set. They operate out of various sites across Ontario (GTA and Southwestern Ontario) and are partnered up with the Canadian Red Cross. I'm an RN who has practiced for the past decade in an outpatient capacity. I recently acquired a new role and will be heading back to inpatient at a local hospital and as a result, took a full BLS (CPR/AED) course from Coast2Coast out of the Kitchener location. It was very comprehensive and the instructor (PRABH) covered all the related topics and was highly knowledgable with providing rationale. She had a good demeanour and was approachable - great qualities to have as an instructor. RECOMMENDATIONS: - ensure you have registered for the correct course as they have a ton listed on the Canadian red cross site. I recommend calling their customer service hotline - which was very helpful. I couldn't find my old CPR card and so the customer service rep assisted me in moving my registration to the appropriate class. Total cost $73 for the BLS - HCP one which will cover CPR, AED, Choking, etc across the lifespan. - ensure you have your old certification card to show them, valid within 3 years, if not then just register for the course again (4hrs) and pay the $73 bucks (taxes in). - Arrive early, or if you cannot make it then call and cancel or notify the instructor so it doesn't waste the instructor's time or the registered participants. All in all, very good course, easy payment, live customer service representative, and knowledgable instructors (aka. PRABH). Thank you.

I renewed my BLS certification with Coast2Coast. Hetal had a comprehensive lesson for us to refresh our training. She answered every question with perfect clarity and prepared us with all the information to pass the 20 question quiz at the end. It was easy, if you pay attention. I feel confident that any emergency situation I encounter that I can calmly and professionally handle what is required within my level of certification. There are many locations, dates and times to choose from, which is why I chose them, but they are clean, organized and have have well maintained equipment to train on. I will be renewing with them again next year.

I made a mistake while booking and the customer support was great and helped me switch into the correct class. The instructor was informational. I do hope that in the future , they will have female mannequins to practice CPR on, as it has been show that women are less likely to receive CPR due to more bias attached
