Our blended first aid and CPR program is the common WSIB approved first aid choice in Kingston and is accepted on many job, school, and campus forms. Students complete online theory before attending in person training for hands-on skills, CPR skills, scenarios, and assessment. Content includes first aid principles, CPR Level C care for adults, children, and infants, plus AED trainer use. Canadian Red Cross certificates are issued within 48 hours after successful completion.

Inside Our Kingston Certification Facility
The Montreal Street facility is set up for certification courses, with AED trainers, CPR mannequins, equipped classroom space, and supplies for scenario-based learning. Participants practise different situations so they feel confident responding at work, school, campus, home, or public events. First Aid, CPR Level C & BLS Certification FAQs

Most Ontario job sites require Standard First Aid, also called Intermediate First Aid, with CPR/AED Level C. Courses are WSIB approved for jobsite compliance, and certification is valid for three years after completion.
CPR/AED Level C includes adults, children, and infants. Participants practise CPR skills, AED use, choking response, and emergency scene safety during hands-on practice time.
BLS courses last four hours and the certificate is valid for one year. Renewal is available for eligible participants, and participants can add two hours for Airway Management when required by their role.
Recertification courses renew certificates for students with a current certificate. They typically last one day and focus on hands-on practice, scenarios, and skill review.
Yes. The Babysitting course is for ages 11 to 15, while Stay Safe is designed for ages 9 to 13. Youth programs teach basic first aid, safety skills, and child care basics, and youth certification has no expiry date.
