First Aid, CPR Level C & BLS Certification FAQs

Answers based on Ontario WSIB rules, Canadian Red Cross policy, and Kingston course options.

Most Ontario job sites require Standard First Aid, also called Intermediate First Aid, with CPR/AED Level C. Courses are WSIB approved for jobsite compliance, and certification is valid for three years after completion.

CPR/AED Level C includes adults, children, and infants. Participants practise CPR skills, AED use, choking response, and emergency scene safety during hands-on practice time.
