Scott is a really good trainer. I have been to many First aid/CPR courses in the past with other training companies, but this one was different. Scott used real life situations and techniques that make it easier to understand the acronyms, etc. I would really recommend you have your trainings with Coast to Coast.

I recently completed the Standard First Aid + CPR C course with instructor Rajeev K, and I can’t recommend it enough. Rajeev is incredibly knowledgeable and brought a wealth of real-life experience and examples to the training, which made the content not only more engaging but also relevant. He made a full 9–5 day feel light and enjoyable with his positive attitude, great sense of humour, and clear passion for teaching.

The room we trained in was spacious and comfortable, which helped us stay focused throughout the day. We used excellent practice materials, everything we needed to get hands-on and properly learn the techniques.

Rajeev kept the whole class engaged and created an open, welcoming environment where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and participating. He was incredibly thorough during the practical portions and made sure each of us had the chance to get the techniques right. His ability to connect with the class and explain things clearly stood out.

Both my friend and I left the course feeling confident in our ability to handle real-life situations requiring first aid and CPR, and that’s all thanks to Rajeev’s outstanding instruction & the Coast2Coast course set up.

The online component we completed before the in person training was great and comprehensive, and you have access to the full guide to follow along and keep for reference. If you’re looking for a course that’s informative & engaging, this is the one to take.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between the different types of CPR courses?

There are two different levels of CPR courses: CPR/AED Level A and CPR/AED Level C. Both courses cover the same material. The difference is that CPR/AED Level A only covers how to perform life-saving skills on adults, whereas CPR/AED Level C is more comprehensive and covers CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. Upon completion of either CPR course, you will receive a CPR and AED certification valid for three years.

Do I need to take First Aid classes in Ottawa in addition to CPR?

This depends on your job and/or school requirements. All of our First Aid classes in Ottawa include CPR/AED Level C training. We highly recommend taking Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C as this is the highest level of first aid training and the most widely accepted course by employers.

Do you offer any online CPR classes in Ottawa?

We offer CPR classes in Ottawa in an online, blended format and an online-only format. To earn an official WSIB-approved Canadian Red Cross certificate, you must enroll in the online blended format (half online, half in class).
We offer online-only courses, but they do not provide an official certificate. If you want an official CPR certification in Ottawa, you must upgrade your training and complete an in-class component to practice your hands-on skills. You can upgrade the online-only course to the online blended course within three months of completing the online-only training.

Can I take a private CPR class in Ottawa?

We do offer private training for groups of 8+. Our private classes have many benefits, like significant savings on your payments and simple billing. We offer group training for Healthcare Providers, Industry Trades, Schools, Security Guards, Government, Social & Support Services Workers, and so much more!
