What is the cost of private CPR training?
The price for group CPR training depends on the course, how many people you have, and where you're located, so we provide a custom quote for every group. Our group rates are lower than if each person booked a public class separately — and you'll only have to deal with one invoice instead of several. Is it possible for an instructor to conduct training at our location?
Yes, we offer onsite group training — that's actually how most private groups do it. An instructor will come to your chosen location with all the CPR training equipment. All you need to provide is a room with some open floor space and a power outlet; we'll bring the manikins, AED trainers, and course materials. If you'd rather not host training at your site, you can always book one of our facilities instead.
What is the minimum number of participants required for private training?
The minimum group size is eight people for any private CPR training, whether it's at your location or ours. If you have fewer than eight, it's usually easier (and more cost-effective) to book individual spots in a public class. You can check our schedule for available dates and locations across the US.
Which courses can we book as private group training?
We offer all seven courses listed above, so your team can choose whichever CPR or first aid course they need. If different departments have different requirements, we can run multiple courses back-to-back in a single day. How long does group CPR training take?
Course lengths range from 90 minutes to 3 hours and 45 minutes, depending on which class and format you choose. The longest course takes 3 hours and 45 minutes if it's fully in person, or just 2 hours and 30 minutes in the classroom if your team completes the online portion of the training ahead of time. Let us know which course you're interested in, and we'll give you the exact timing.
Is it possible to customize or reschedule private CPR training?
Yes, with seven days' notice. Give us a week and we can move the date, change the venue or switch the course level. Inside that window it depends on instructor availability, so call 1-866-291-9121.
Is it allowed to substitute participants in private group training?
Yes, you can change names on the roster up to three days before your session. For blended courses, it's best to give us seven days' notice, since new participants need time to complete the online portion of the training. Just send us the updated names, and we'll take care of the rest.
When do first aid and CPR training sessions begin?
You pick the start time and we build the CPR training around it. We offer sessions early in the morning before shifts, as well as evenings and weekends when possible. Let us know what works best for your group, and our instructor will coordinate the schedule from there.
How soon do our staff receive their certificates?
You'll receive your digital certificate by email within 48 hours of passing the skills evaluation. It's ready to add to your safety records, is valid for two years, and meets OSHA workplace requirements. To earn it, participants need to attend the entire session and score at least 75% on the knowledge test.
Are group discounts available when participants attend public classes on different dates and at various locations?
Yes. Group pricing can still apply when your people book separate dates or cities. It suits companies with staff spread across sites. What you save depends on the group size and what your team needs — send us the total headcount for a quote.
What if someone struggles with the skills test?
Every participant gets a free 90-day practice retake. If you're not feeling confident about your compression depth or AED pad placement, you can come back for extra practice within 90 days — no extra charge. This is one of the reasons our CPR training has a 99.9% success rate.
