Why Working at Heights Training is Mandatory in Ontario
Falls are one of the leading causes of critical injuries and fatalities in the Ontario construction industry. Because of this, the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and O. Reg. 297/13 mandate strict training requirements.
If you or your team members work on construction projects and use specific methods of fall protection—such as travel restraint systems, fall restricting systems, fall arrest systems, safety nets, or work belts—CPO-approved Working at Heights (WAH) training is a legal requirement.
At Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, with over 10+ years of industry-leading experience, we understand that this training is more than just checking a compliance box; it is about ensuring every worker returns home safely. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training that replaces the anxiety of heights with technical competence.

3. Do I need to bring my own harness to the training?
No. Coast2Coast and 4S provide all necessary, up-to-date, and inspected fall protection equipment for the practical module. If you have a company-issued harness, you are welcome to bring it for the instructor to review.
4. What happens if I fail the Working at Heights test?
Coast2Coast boasts a 99.9% student success rate. Our instructors will provide additional support if you struggle with the material. In the rare event a student cannot pass, our team will outline next steps for re-evaluation.
