Group Training for Healthcare Providers

Those who work in the healthcare spectrum have a very special place in our hearts, as they use their education and skills everyday to save lives. Coast2Coast has the same ambition to provide training for healthcare professionals. We also strive to make everyone in our communities CPR/AED and First Aid certified. This is why we provide private/group training for healthcare professionals.

Alongside our courses of CPR/AED and First Aid, we offer a level precisely for our healthcare students to be ready to offer CPR in their respected institutions; Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) training, which includes pulse check, bag valve mask CPR, and two rescuer CPR for adults, infants and children. This level of instruction is geared towards those in healthcare. Students will practice CPR with situations that are commonplace with healthcare workers.

Many of our approved and well-respected instructors at Coast2Coast are in the medical or healthcare field. Along with being certified and approved by the Canadian Red Cross, they have endless experience in careers such as pharmacists, doctors, nurses, para-medicine, and other specialized healthcare professions.

We also understand that if you are working in the healthcare industry, you likely already have CPR/AED and First Aid certificates. With our group and/or private sessions, we offer recertification courses to recertify your employer, employees, and co-workers in the best First Aid training around! The Canadian Red Cross is constantly updating with the latest and most advanced content, so it is great for you to get a refresher in CPR/AED and First Aid.

If you would like to set up a private course, we offer flexible scheduling in terms of time and date, as well as the location of the course. If space is provided, we can one of our experienced Canadian Red Cross instructors to your institution and teach in the comfort of your own workplace. If you would prefer to come to one our training facilities, we are more than happy to provide space for you at one of our 18 locations in Ontario.

WSIB Requirement – Regulation 1101

All our instructors are Canadian Red Cross certified and retrained by Coast2Coast Head Office. They are capable of designing each course based on the class size, type and demographic. All of our courses are WSIB approved and meet the highest standards of the Federal Occupational Health and Safety act.

Online Blended Training for Healthcare

Along with our Recertification courses, we also offer Online Blended courses, which are Canadian Red Cross and WSIB approved. It is an abridged form of the traditional training course that is half the time of the traditional course, but still receiving the same certification and learning that the regular courses offer. The theory portion is processed online, and the in-class session would be you and your co-workers coming in to focus on the practical skills training.

Coast2Coast offers the following courses in Online Blended learning:

Our course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to respond to and assist at any medical or trauma incident. Our health care provider courses focus on the success of survival of all victims they help and applying care to the best of standards.

It is well-noted that prices can influx with an increase or decrease of the quantity of participants that are in each course. Each of the participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross approved certificate that is valid for three years anywhere in Canada.

I took a course with Rajeev during the long weekend. His professionalism combined with his anecdotes were very helpful in applying the concepts directly to real situations.
Although I am not new to first aid, I still learned a great deal, which I attribute to Rajeev’s teaching methods. He would prompt the class with questions to give everyone a chance to arrive at the answer themselves before offering the answer. This is something I have found very helpful in my past learning, and was glad to have that through the SFA-C course. He was respectful while knowing when to include humor, inspirational, and used demonstrations to keep everyone engaged.
I would highly recommend Coast2Coast and Rajeev’s courses for anyone looking to learn first aid or take another course that he teaches.
I would also recommend anyone reading this to take a first-aid and CPR course as it is invaluable – emergencies don’t come with warnings.
